NaBloPoMo

This month I’m participating in a project called National Blog Posting Month, or NaBloPoMo. It’s something of a misnomer, since the project is actually international, but whatever. The goal is to post every day in the month of November. I attempted this last year, and failed about halfway through for a purely technical reason– one night I accidentally hit “save” instead of “publish”. Since I’d already screwed it up, I wasn’t motivated to post for the rest of the month. This time I think I can do it. I’m also determined to figure out how to put the NaBloPoMo stamp on my sidebar, so if you see it now… it means I learned how to do something new. :-)

I joined! I’ve never written a post every day for a month before. I’ll see how it will go.

I checked your source code for the NaBloPoMo and you have:

The image source doesn’t point to an imnage but your webspage. You need to download the picture and upload it to a service (photobucket or flickr or wordpress etc) and then link the tag to the picture address and it should work then.

Damn, the HTML wasn’t disabled and so you can’t see it above. It looks something like this but has ”

How embarrassing; I thought I’d removed that botched attempt I made last night. I knew that my web address wasn’t supposed to go there, but I tried it anyway, because… I don’t know… perhaps I thought I could bend the laws of the internet using sheer will power? Anyway, thanks for the tip. Maybe today I’ll get it to work!
